Our Current Projects
Congenital Heart Disease Awareness
Congenital Heart Disease awareness forms the heart of our charity, it is a very important cause that is very close to our hearts. Our son, Muhammad Hanzalah was antenatally diagnosed with a complex heart disease called Truncus Arteriosus. Hanzalah had 2 Open Heart surgeries (within the space of 23 days) and a Cardiac Catheter, sadly, some major setbacks hindered his path to recovery, and he passed away at 9 weeks of age.
Uighur Community and Orphanage Project
The Uighur Muslim community originates from East Turkestan, also known as Uighuristan, however, is known globally by its Chinese name Xingjiang. The Uighur community encourages the use of East Turkestan, a supposedly self-governed region that is currently under the control of the Chinese government.
East Turkestan has an approximate population of 24,87,000 and the main language is spoken by its residents is the Uighur language, which is until Uighur’s were prohibited from speaking their Mother tongue.
Birmingham City Children’s Initiative
There is nothing as rewarding as giving back to those in your community, particularly to children. Children from the heart of our society and it is the duty of every individual to do their utmost best to help children who may be struggling. Almost a third of children in the UK live in childhood poverty, according to the Children’s Society, two-thirds of children living in poverty have at least one parent in employment. Approximately, 5 million children in the UK are currently living in poverty, we believe that this is simply unacceptable in a developing country.
