A Poem: The Bereaved Mother

Life for a bereaved Mother is something that words cannot describe,
For how? How can words describe the immeasurable a Mother has for the one she once cradled and kissed?

For the milk ducts still exist.
Her hormones anger her and crave: To touch, hold or kiss.
She has no choice but to resist.
Alas,
the feeling of loss,
pain and yearning is one that will –
forever
exist.
