The Cardiac Cosmonaut is a charitable organisation which we have started in the loving memory of our son Muhammad Hanzalah Umar. Hanzalah was antenatally diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Disease and sadly passed away at nine weeks of age. Hanzalah bought us so much joy and happiness in the nine weeks he was with us, he left a lasting imprint on everyone who was close to him.
We would like to spread a little joy and happiness to others in his name. The organisation will be working on various projects throughout the year which you can view in ‘Our Projects’ section.
Thank you for your support.
After Hanzalah had passed and had been laid to rest, it was time to face the daunting reality and the tough path that lay ahead.
I named my last blog Through the Early Stages of Child Loss, after I posted my blog I reflected on my writing and thought, “what do I actually mean by the Early Stages?”.
It has been 76 days since I posted my last blog. 76 days! I thought I would be publishing a blog on a fortnightly basis, it has, however, taken me 76 days to clack on the keyboard of my Macbook. Hanzalah left us 164 days ago, he was only with us on Earth for 63 days.
We would love to bring hope and happiness to as many people as we can. We will only be able to achieve this with your help and support. Our organisation is a non-profit organisation and all contributors of The Cardiac Cosmonaut work on a purely voluntary basis.
